Our Project Experiences
Identity Management Program
Global Financial Services Company
Focus of the program was on increasing overall Identity Management maturity to allow for increased user context. Enhanced context enabled more intelligent access rules and monitoring rules. Worked with business unit leads, applications developers, and security architects to create a formalized identity model. Identified source systems for attribute values and performed analysis of overall attribute data hygiene. Program also included development of an identity portal to allow for user self-service.
IT Financial Management ProgramGlobal Investment Bank
Customer was challenged with financial management issues within IT, compounded by the lack of centralized information and analysis around existing assets and how they were being consumed. Analyzed problem areas and developed targeted program to focus on developing insight into areas deemed critical by the customer. Created a global data model that was sourced from multiple data repositories and resulted in the creation of a centralized Data Warehouse. The solution enabled the customer to accurately request and allocate budget, reducing waste and inefficiencies. Consequently, the customer was able to re-allocate resources and defer significant capital purchases without sacrificing operational readiness and quality-of-service.

IT Optimization ProgramRegional Commercial Bank
Customer's primary growth model was through acquisition of local community banks. The Bank wanted to transform their IT infrastructure to minimize the time required to migrate acquired banks into the Customer's IT infrastructure. A thorough review of the existing inventory of management/monitoring software was performed with Key Performance Indicators/Critical Success Factor metrics identified. Redundant and/or under-utilized management applications were removed. The effort resulted in a standard monitoring framework across the IT infrastructure, identification of opportunities for orchestration, enhancement of existing ITIL processes, and a documented run-book for newly acquired entities to migrate their infrastructure as required.
Infrastructure-as-a-Service ProgramService Provider
Customer was attempting renewal of contracts with multiple clients. As a result, they were looking for innovative ways to create cost awareness and chargeback models to show competitive advantage. Created an assessment program to analyze current trends for infrastructure capacity and infrastructure performance. Assessment output was used as direct input for the creation of a Service Catalog for both virtualized and physical host servers. Client introduced infrastructure tiering services to move workloads based on required capacity. Customer successfully retained current customers and increased their existing customer base via competitive differentiation.
